High Proper Motion Stars and Their Galactic Origin

Timur ŞahinSelçuk Bilir

In this presentation, we provide a through discussion on the possible origins of two high proper motion (HPM) stars for which, as a case study, we performed their 1D LTE abundances analyses. The selected metal-poor HPM stars, namely, HD 194598 and HD 3567 are HPM stars that are representative of the whole HPM sample from the ELODIE library that contains 54 F-type HPM stars. For those two stars, we present their computed kinematic parameters, Galactic orbital parameters, and ages based on Bayesian statistics. For each HPM star, we assigned a candidate globular cluster as a parent globular cluster on the basis of its orbital parameters, metallicity and chemical abundances.
