Developments in information and communication technologies make it inevitable to obtain and use digital data of individuals. For this reason, individuals share their information through data in their daily lives. With the sharing of this information, issues such as information security and surveillance come to the fore and concerns arise about how individuals can protect their privacy. Therefore, when it comes to digital data, the concept of digital privacy inevitably comes with it. From this point of view, this study has been prepared considering the necessity of investigating digital privacy from the perspective of communication science.
