The Impacts of Digital Health Applications on Public Health

The evolving technologies and living conditions have triggered the need for change and innovation in healthcare. This need has led to various outcomes and necessitates the addressing of certain phenomena concerning public health. Digital Health Applications (DHA) encompass a multidisciplinary concept that combines health services with technology, including software, hardware, and information technology applications. It explores personalized and niche areas such as mobile health applications, electronic health records, telepharmacy, and telemedicine. This article aims to discuss how DHA contribute to disease prevention, increasing health awareness, and improving accessibility. While DHAs offer significant benefits in the field of public health, researchers need to focus their studies on this domain to address challenges such as user experience, the elderly population, ethical and legal concerns, as well as cost issues.

Di̇ji̇tal Sağlık Uygulamalarının Halk Sağlığı Üzeri̇ndeki̇ Etki̇leri̇

Gelişen teknoloji ve yaşam koşulları, sağlık sektöründe değişim ve yenilik ihtiyacını tetikledi. Bu ihtiyaç, çeşitli sonuçlara yol açmış ve kamu sağlığı ile ilgili belirli olguların ele alınmasını gerektirmiştir. Dijital Sağlık Uygulamaları (DSU), sağlık hizmetlerini yazılım, donanım ve bilgi teknolojisi uygulamalarını içeren teknoloji ile birleştiren çok disiplinli bir kavramı kapsar. Bu, mobil sağlık uygulamaları, elektronik sağlık kayıtları, teletıp ve telefarmasi gibi kişiselleştirilmiş ve özgül alanları keşfeder. Bu makale, dijital sağlık uygulamalarının hastalık önlemeye, sağlık farkındalığını artırmaya ve erişimi iyileştirmeye nasıl katkı sağladığını tartışmayı amaçlamaktadır. DSU kamu sağlığı alanında önemli faydalar sunsa da, araştırmacıların bu alandaki çalışmalarını kullanıcı deneyimi, yaşlı nüfus, etik ve hukuki endişeler ile mali konular gibi zorlukları ele almak için odaklamaları gerekmektedir.
