Kroni̇k Böbrek Hastalığı Ve Kırılganlık

Kırılganlık, birbiriyle ilişkili çoklu fizyolojik sistemlerde yaşa bağlı düşüşün bir sonucu olarak gelişir ve bu durum küçük stres ve olayların tetiklediği ani sağlık durumu değişikliklerine karşı savunmasızlıkla sonuçlanır. Yaşlı bireyin savunmasızlığı ve prognozu ile ilgili endişeyi ifade eden bir klinik ifadedir. Genel popülasyonda düşme, hastaneye yatış, düşük yaşam kalitesi ve mortalite gibi olumsuz sonuçları öngörür. Kronik böbrek yaşla birlikte artar ve bu hastalarda Kırılganlık prevelansı yüksek olup son dönem böbrek yetmezliği hastalarının üçte ikisi kırılgan olarak tanımlanır. Kırılganlık böbrek hastalığı olan hastalarda morbidite ve mortaliteye önemli bir katkıda bulunur. Bununla birlikte, kırılganlığın daha kötü sonuçlarla ilişkili olduğuna dair artan kanıtlara rağmen, kırılganlık taramasi evrensel olarak rutin nefroloji pratiğinde ihmal edilebilmektedir.
