Background&nbsp;One of the first steps in moving a problem of what behavior should be within the scope of green organizational behavior should be examine the question the meaning of what the individuals of that society referred to the concept of green behavior within the organization by a unique measurement tool. The main problematic in here is what employee behavior within the organization can be considered as green behavior. It is not easy to answer this question; because the meaning of green organizational behaviors is not the same for each society. Many literature of social sciences, examine green organizational behavior, lacks a scale that can be used to understand the perception of green organizational behavior.PurposeIn this study, it is aimed to develop a valid and reliable measurement tool to measure employees’ green organizational behavior.&nbsp;MethodThis research has the feature of qualitative (qualitative) research by using induction method as it seeks to develop an original scale. In addition, a pilot practice after identifying the propositions, adds quantitative research to the research. Schwab’s (1980) three-stage scale development process was followed in the process of developing a green organizational behavior scale. These stages are item development, scale development, scale evaluation. Item development was formed as a result of the content analysis of the data obtained as a result of the semi-structured interview method with 50 managers and 100 employees in different enterprises of Konya Independent Industrialists’ and Businessmen’s Association (MUSIAD). Items were suggested were evaluated with the views of 7 academicians. The Lawshe method was used to determine the validity ratios of the propositions. The surveys were carried out was applied to participation of 500 employees from member enterprises in Konya MUSIAD.FindingsA model consisting of 27 items and 5 factors has emerged. Factors forming the scale are labeled as environmental sensitivity, environmental participation, economic sensitivity, green purchasing, technological sensitivity. The 5-factor structure was confirmed by confirmatory factor analysis and the scale was found to be acceptable levels of compliance. For the reliability of the scale, cronbach alpha internal consistency coefficient was determined as respectively .813, .766, .710, .724 and for the whole scale .701.Conclusions&nbsp;As a result, it was seen that the scale model (green organizational behavior scale) was a theoretical and statistically suitable, valid and reliable measurement tool. It is thought that the green organizational behavior scale obtained within the scope of the research clarifies which behaviors in Turkish business organizations should be included in the scope of green organizational behavior.

Islamic financial literacy has been recognized as an important tool to increase inclusiveness. However, until today, structures for Islamic financial literacy have not been sufficiently studied, although such an attempt has been made in the literature. Therefore, it aims to develop structures for Islamic financial literacy and its determinants. Halal business is not just about halal ingredients and production. Besides focusing on halal production, the right Halal business operators should also concentrate on adopting Halal financing that is called Islamic financing. However, the assessment of the level of awareness, knowledge and skills of Halal and Islamic financing among business operators should be prepared. However, prior to assessing the awareness, knowledge and skill levels of Halal and Islamic finance among business users should be prepared. This paper aims to bridge the Halal Literacy and Islamic Financial Literacy on the attitude of Halal business producers towards Islamic financing adoption. This study proposes the measurement and validity approach for Halal Literacy and Islamic Financial Literacy. Halal Literacy and Islamic Financial Literacy are two crucial concepts where it can lead to the behavior of person towards its decisions especially in adopting Islamic financing. This study is attempted to contribute towards new theoretical knowledge especially in proposing the measurement items for Halal Literacy and Islamic Financial Literacy. This study also expected to help the policymaker to understand the level of literacy among consumers, especially from Halal business producer’s perspective. In addition, this article provides a validated framework for assessing the level of Islamic financial literacy, which also enables the community and researchers to expand their knowledge of Islamic financial literacy.Factors Affecting Financial LiteracyThere are many studies analyzing the factors affecting the financial literacy of an individual. A study by Lusardi et al. (2008) examined the financial literacy of young people using a longitudinal data. They found that financial literacy among young people is not only low, but also strongly associated with socio-demographic factors and family financial complexity. Meanwhile, the findings of the study by Ford and Kent (2010) show that female university students are less scared and less interested in the markets than their male counterparts. It was also found that women had lower financial market awareness than men. This finding is supported by Worthington (2006). In the study, it was found that financial literacy was at the highest level for individuals, professionals, business owners and university / university graduates aged 50 and 60 years. It was also found that literacy was the lowest in the unemployed, women, and people with low education and non-English speakers.Islamic Financial Literacy and Halal LiteracyStudies on Islamic financial literacy can be considered as a new concept in the field of financial literacy. Currently, Islamic financial literacy has no widely accepted meaning due to its innovations (Abdullah, 2014). Similarly, due to the limited literature in the field, the review of the literature in this study is mainly based on contemporary research on financial literacy. In this study, measurement elements for Islamic financial literacy are based on the principles and method of Islamic finance. The studies focus on the main Islamic finance method in the Islamic bank such as Mudaraba, Mushareke, Ijarah, Murabaha, Istisna and Qard Hassan. Halal means legal or permissible things in Islam; Haram means things prohibited in Islam. Halal and Haram are explained with hadiths. However, there is a lack of knowledge and understanding of Halal, especially among Muslims, among Halal trade operators. People often consider halal and haram only in the process of producing goods. However, Halal in Islam includes all subjects in life. Halal is a very comprehensive term that refers to everything permitted in Islamic Law.Relationship between Halal Literacy and Islamic Financial LiteracyThe entire process in business must be halal on the basis of Islamic law. When a business person enters the production of Halal, the entire service must be Halal. In terms of financing, it may be necessary to finance the business or the company’s business. Business finance includes equity financing, debt financing and rent financing. There are two types of traditional financing and Islamic financing. As a halal food producer, Islamic finance should be chosen in such a way that Halal includes all aspects of life (Salehudin, 2011). Ishak and Man (2011) discussed the integration between Halal and Islamic finance on the Qur’an and Sunnah. They also stated that the integration between the two sectors was not a necessity (although it was imperative from the Sharia point of view). In this study, an integrative model of behavioral prediction (Fishbein, 2000; Fishbein and Yzer, 2003) was used to combine halal literacy and Islamic financial literacy. This theory is the extension of the Theory of Planned Behavior (Ajzen, 1985). The study will include skills and environmental factors from behavioral issues in the adoption of Islamic finance. People have the right attitudes, but the person may not be able to perform that behavior because of the presence of internal and external behaviors.Methodology and ConclusionHalal Literacy and Islamic Financial Literacy is recommended to test measurements, and 8 steps are recommended for better marketing structures (Churchill, 1979). This study will adopt the procedure proposed by Churchill in the development of&nbsp;measurement items for Halal Literacy and Islamic Financial Literacy. The necessary steps for this procedure are: 1) Specifying the structure domain; 2) Production of samples; 3) Data collection; 4) Taking clearance measures; 5) Data collection (again); 6) Evaluation of reliability; 7) Testing validity; and 8) the development of norms. This study attempts to contribute to new theoretical knowledge. The proposed measure for Halal Literacy and Islamic Financial Literacy can help the policy maker understand the level of literacy among consumers, especially from the perspective of the Halal trade producer. However, this study is limited to halal business operators in the food services sector. Measurement should also be applied in other sectors such as the pharmaceutical industry and cosmetics.

Background Although there are many terms (e.g., expatriates, overseas executives, international mobile managers, etc.) used for the multinational enterprise (MNE) manager resources in the International Business, International Human Resource Management and Global Mobility literatures, there are only few terms in Turkish literature. Also, Turkish literature lacks a certain terminology unity on the MNE manager resources.PurposeThe purpose of this study is to present a conceptual framework providing terminology unity for the MNE manager resources. This study contributes to Turkish literature by analyzing the innovations and the developments in the foreign literature regarding the MNE manager resources. This study also attempts to put forward some expert views from the field.MethodIn this study, firstly, the literature on the MNE manager resources was examined via document analysis method. Secondly, the relation between the manager resources and the literature was established through a qualitative research, using the case study method in Turkish MNEs. Lastly, expert views were collected and analyzed comprehensively.FindingsThis study proposes seven different manager resources for Turkish MNEs, defines them, and draws a conceptual framework for them.Conclusions&nbsp;It is believed that this study will help Turkish human resource managers, professionals, academics, researchers and postgraduates to better recognize and evaluate the field.

A Conceptual Study on Manager Resources of Multinational Enterprises

Research Problem The main aim of the study was to be able to contribute to the growing literature on the existence of the relationships between stock returns and financial ratios by employing an analysis methodology that differentiates short-term temporary relations from the long-term ones.&nbsp;Research QuestionsIs there a significant relationship between stock returns and lagged values of returns?&nbsp;Is there a significant relationship between stock returns and their financial ratios and/or lagged values of financial ratios?If there is; is it possible to differentiate the relationship into short-term and longterm components?Literature ReviewThe purpose of the literature review was to conduct a comprehensive study in order to identify the existent research on the predictability of stock returns. Seminal works were found and classified into three main classes. The first class constituted early studies advocating the impossibility of predicting stock returns because of random walk and efficient market hypothesis. Studies mentioning about the temporary and permanent components of stock returns and advocating the predictability of returns constituted the second class. Finally, studies including the findings of predictability of returns with some macroeconomic variables and/or financial ratios were classified into the third class. Focusing on the relationships between stock returns and financial ratios, the main research findings of the literature are; there are statistically significant relationships between stock returns and financial ratios with some studies mentioning about the stock return predictive ability of financial ratios. Nevertheless, identification of a certain type of financial ratio, the extent of the relationship and a specific methodology remains open.&nbsp;MethodologyIn this research, a quantitative analysis methodology is employed. Stock returns and eight financial ratios of one hundred industrial firms, listed in BIST Industrial Index, are collected by using financial services software called Finnet. Using the obtained quarterly data, a panel data set is constructed for the period of 2012 – 2017.&nbsp;For the econometric model, the stock returns are described as a function of financial ratios and the data set is analyzed by applying an advanced method of dynamic panel estimation called Panel Autoregressive Distributed Lag (Panel-ARDL) developed by Pesaran, Shin and Smith (1999, 2001). The Model is a cointegration technique which is consistent to correct the heterogeneity bias of panel estimation and flexible enough to allow long-run coefficient homogeneity at the same time by allowing for short-run coefficient heterogeneity.Results and ConclusionsAccording to the empirical results, the estimated error correction coefficient (φi ) of the developed ARDL (1,1,1,1,1,1,1,1,1) Model is negative and statistically significant which indicates the presence of a working error correction mechanism and cointegration between variables. From the estimated long-run coefficients; the Model suggests the existence of a positive and statistically significant long-term relationship between stock returns and asset turnover rate, net profit margin and shareholders’ equity/tangible fixed assets ratios, and also the existence of a negative and significant long-term relationship between stock returns, current ratio and accounts receivable turnover rate. Additionally, four statistically significant short-term variable coefficients are estimated suggesting; a positive and significant short-term relationship between stock returns and accounts receivable turnover rate, and a negative and significant shortterm relationship between stock returns and leverage ratio, asset turnover rate and net profit margin. The main implication of this research is that it shows the importance of considering the effects of periodic differences (long-term or short-term) additional to the lagged values of dependent and independent variables while analyzing the relationship between stock returns and financial ratios.

Plagiarism Submitted manuscripts that pass preliminary control are scanned for plagiarism using iThenticate software. If plagiarism/self-plagiarism will be found authors will be informed. Editors may resubmit manuscript for similarity check at any peer-review or production stage if required. High similarity scores may lead to rejection of a manuscript before and even after acceptance. Depending on the type of article and the percentage of similarity score taken from each article, the overall similarity score is generally expected to be less than 15 or 20%. Double Blind Peer-Review After plagiarism check, the eligible ones are evaluated by the editors-in-chief for their originality, methodology, the importance of the subject covered and compliance with the journal scope. The editor provides a fair double-blind peer review of the submitted articles and hands over the papers matching the formal rules to at least two national/international referees for evaluation and gives green light for publication upon modification by the authors in accordance with the referees’ claims.

The journal is an open access journal and all content is freely available without charge to the user or his/her institution. Except for commercial purposes, users are allowed to read, download, copy, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles in this journal without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author. The research should be designed to protect the autonomy and dignity of the participants.-    Research participants should participate in the research voluntarily, not under any coercion.-    Any possible harm to participants must be avoided. The research should be planned in such a way that the participants are not at risk.-    The independence of research must be clear; and any conflict of interest or must be disclosed.-    In experimental studies with human subjects, written informed consent of the participants who decide to participate in the research must be obtained. In the case of children and those under wardship or with confirmed insanity, legal custodian’s assent must be obtained.-    If the study is to be carried out in any institution or organization, approval must be obtained from this institution or organization.-    In studies with human subject, it must be noted in the method’s section of the manuscript that the informed consent of the participants and ethics committee approval from the institution where the study has been conducted have been obtained.

It is authors’ responsibility to ensure that the article is in accordance with scientific and ethical standards and rules. And authors must ensure that submitted work is original. They must certify that the manuscript has not previously been published elsewhere or is not currently being considered for publication elsewhere, in any language. Applicable copyright laws and conventions must be followed. Copyright material (e.g. tables, figures or extensive quotations) must be reproduced only with appropriate permission and acknowledgement. Any work or words of other authors, contributors, or sources must be appropriately credited and referenced.All the authors of a submitted manuscript must have direct scientific and academic contribution to the manuscript. The author(s) of the original research articles is defined as a person who is significantly involved in “conceptualization and design of the study”, “collecting the data”, “analyzing the data”, “writing the manuscript”, “reviewing the manuscript with a critical perspective” and “planning/conducting the study of the manuscript and/or revising it”. Fund raising, data collection or supervision of the research group are not sufficient roles to be accepted as an author. The author(s) must meet all these criteria described above. The order of names in the author list of an article must be a co-decision and it must be indicated in the <a href="https://cdn.istanbul.edu.tr/file/JTA6CLJ8T5/6BA6FA681B754A079757365BC3AB592C" target="_blank">Copyright Agreement Form.</a> The individuals who do not meet the authorship criteria but contributed to the study must take place in the acknowledgement section. Individuals providing technical support, assisting writing, providing a general support, providing material or financial support are examples to be indicated in acknowledgement section.All authors must disclose all issues concerning financial relationship, conflict of interest, and competing interest that may potentially influence the results of the research or scientific judgment.When an author discovers a significant error or inaccuracy in his/her own published paper, it is the author’s obligation to promptly cooperate with the Editor to provide retractions or corrections of mistakes.

LanguageThe publication language of the journal is English. Manuscript Organization and FormatAll correspondence will be sent to the first-named author unless otherwise specified. Manuscpript is to be submitted online via <a href="https://dergipark.org.tr/en/pub/imj" target="_blank">https://dergipark.org.tr/en/pub/imj</a> and it must be accompanied by a cover letter indicating that the manuscript is intended for publication, specifying the article category (i.e. research article, review etc.) and including information about the manuscript (see the Submission Checklist). Manuscripts should be prepared in Microsoft Word 2003 and upper versions. In addition, <a href="https://cdn.istanbul.edu.tr/file/JTA6CLJ8T5/6BA6FA681B754A079757365BC3AB592C" target="_blank">Copyright Agreement Form</a> that has to be signed by all authors must be submitted.1. The manuscripts should be in A4 paper standards: having 2.5 cm margins from right, left, bottom and top, Times New Roman font style in 12 font size, line spacing of 1.5 and “justify align” format. For indented paragraph, tab key should be used. One line spacing should be used for the tables and figures, which are included in the text.2. The title of the text should be centered on the page, in lower-case letter, bold, Times New Roman font and 14 font size.3. Information about the author is to be written on the left part of the page skipping one line space after the title, and it should be in Times New Roman font, 10 font size, with one line spacing. After indicating the name of the author in lower-case letter and surname in capital letter, the title, affiliation, and e-mail address should be included.4. Before the introduction part, there should be an abstract of 180-200 words both in the language of the article and in English. An extended abstract in English between 600-800 words, summarizing the scope, the purpose, the results of the study and the methodology used is to be included following the abstracts. If the manuscript is in English, extended abstract is not required. Underneath the abstracts, 5-8 keywords that inform the reader about the content of the study should be specified in the language of the article and in English.5. The manuscripts should contain mainly these components: title, abstract and keywords; extended abstract (If the manuscript is in English, extended abstract is not required), sections, footnotes and references.6. Tables, graphs and figures can be given with a number and a defining title if and only if it is necessary to follow the idea of the article. Otherwise features like demographic characteristics can be given within the text.7. A <a href="https://cdn.istanbul.edu.tr/file/JTA6CLJ8T5/AE60FC029C414FA58031847E153E4762" target="_blank">title page</a> including author information must be submitted together with the manuscript. The title page is to include fully descriptive title of the manuscript and, affiliation, title, e-mail address, ORCID, postal address, phone and fax number of the author(s) (see The Submission Checklist).8. Authors are responsible for all statements made in their work submitted to the Journal for publication.9. The author(s) can be asked to make some changes in their articles due to peer reviews.10. The studies that were sent to the journal will not be returned whether they are published or not.

Although references to review articles can be an efficient way to guide readers to a body of literature, review articles do not always reflect original work accurately. Readers should therefore be provided with direct references to original research sources whenever possible. On the other hand, extensive lists of references to original work on a topic can use excessive space on the printed page. Small numbers of references to key original papers often serve as well as more exhaustive lists, particularly since references can now be added to the electronic version of published papers, and since electronic literature searching allows readers to retrieve published literature efficiently. Papers accepted but not yet included in the issue are published online in the Early View section and they should be cited as “advance online publication”. Citing a “personal communication” should be avoided unless it provides essential information not available from a public source, in which case the name of the person and date of communication should be cited in parentheses in the text.
