Evaluation of Socioeconomic Status of Bebeks With Acute Bronchiolitis

Risk factors for acute bronchiolitis, such as parent smoking, insufficient breast feeding, living in a low-income and low sociocultural status family, and poor hygiene were seen similar to literature in our study.

Akut Bronşiolitli Sütçocuklarında Sosyoekonomik Durum Değerlendirilmesi

Çalışma verileri toplu halde değerlendirildiğinde, akut bronşiolit için önemli olan risk faktörlerinin hasta grubumuzda mevcut olduğu saptanmıştır. Bu risk faktörleri özellikle ebeveynlerin sigara içmesi, çocukların yeterince emzirilmemesi, kalabalık ortamlar, düşük gelir ve düşük sosyokültürel seviyede yaşama, bebeğin çok sayıda kişi ile temas ettirilmesi ve hijyene dikkat edilmemesidir.
