Principles of Protection from Whooping Cough
Whooping cough is a contagious, and life-threatening respiratory tract illness. Despite vaccination pertussis has re-emerged worldwide as a cause of morbidity and mortality in infants, children, and adolescents. In this article the prevention strategies of pertussis were discussed.

Boğmaca, bulaşıcı olan ve yaşamı tehdit edebilen bir solunum yolu hastalığıdır. Aşılamaya rağmen, tüm dünyada sütçocukları, çocuklar ve ergenlerde önemli oranda morbidite ve mortaliteye neden olmaya devam etmektedir. Bu makalede boğmaca hastalığının korunma stratejileri gözden geçirilmiştir.
