HIV Infection in Children

Today, HIV infection had become a pandemia which affects the whole world. By the end of 2015, approximately thirty seven million people are infected worldwide with human immunodeficiency virus (HIV). In Turkey, firstly, a case with acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS) has observed in 1985. According to the data of The Turkish Ministry of Health report in 2015, a total of 12541 patients with the diagnosis of HIV/AIDS has been reported. In our coıunty, the number of HIV/AIDS cases are increasing year by year.

Çocuklarda HIV Enfeksiyonu

Günümüzde HIV enfeksiyonu tüm dünyayı etkileyen bir pandemi hâline gelmiştir. 2015 yılı sonu itibariyle tüm dünyada yaklaşık 37 milyon kişi insan immün yetmezlik virusu (HIV) ile enfektedir. Türkiye’de ilk olarak 1985 yılında kazanılmış immün yetersizlik sendromu (Acquired immunodeficiency syndrome, AIDS) vakası görülmüş olup 2015 yılı Sağlık Bakanlığı verilerine göre toplam 12.541 HIV/AIDS vakası (11101 HIV pozitif /1440 AIDS ) bildirilmiştir. Ülkemizde yıllar içinde HIV/AIDS vaka sayısının giderek artmakta olduğu görülmektedir.
