GLIOMATOSIS CEREBRI: CLINICAL ISSUES AND ASSESSMENT OF A CASE

Gliomatosis cerebri is a rare brain tumor with poor prognosis. A major disparity is observed between the clinical course and radiologic imaging. Differences in pathological diagnosis, which may also be due to this disparity may cause issues in managing the treatment in daily practice. GLİOMATOZİS SEREBRİ: KLİNİK SORUNLAR VE BİR OLGU EŞLİĞİNDE DEĞERLENDİRME

Gliomatozis serebri nadir görülen, kötü prognozlu bir beyin tümörüdür. İnfiltrasyon sırasında glial hücrelerde belirgin dejenerasyona neden olmaz. Bu nedenle klinik tablo ve radyolojik görünüm arasında belirgin bir orantısızlık gözlenir. Yine bu nedenle olabilecek patolojik tanı farklılıkları da günlük pratik içinde tedaviyi yönlendirmede sorunlar oluşturabilir. Bu yazıda literatür eşliğinde bir olgunun sunulması amaçlanmıştır.
