Yaşlılık Ve Akut Böbrek Yetmezli̇ği̇
Feyza Bayrakdar Çağlayan, Siren SezerYaşlanma, kişide fonksiyonel rezervlerde ilerleyici azalma ile iç ve dış kaynaklı strese adapte olma kapasitesinde bozulma halidir. Bu durum hastalık ve ölüm riskinde artışa sebep olmaktadır. Günümüzde, sağlık hizmetlerine erişimin yaygınlaşması ve tıbbi imkanların gelişmesi ile yaşlı nüfusun giderek artıyor olması, klinik uygulamalarda yeni yaklaşımları zorunlu kılmaktadır. Akut böbrek hasarı (ABH) özellikle yoğun bakım ünitelerinde olmak üzere yaşlı hastalarda sıklıkla görülen böbrek fonksiyonlarında ani azalma ile karakterize kritik bir durumdur. Kısa ve uzun dönem mortalite, hastane yatışı artışına neden olur ve kronik böbrek yetmezliğinin bir göstergesi olarak kabul edilir. Diyabet, hipertansiyon ve kalp hastalıkları gibi komorbiditelerden bir veya birkaçına sahip ve çoklu ilaç kullanımı olan yaşlı popülasyonda ABH daha sık görülmektedir Sıklığı ve önemi göz önüne alındığında yaşlılarda ABH’dan korunma ve tedavisinin bilinmesi dahiliye ve acil kliniklerinde önemli yer tutmaktadır.
