Yaşlı Hastalarda Alt Üri̇ner Si̇stem Sorunları
İsmail Önder Yılmaz, Mutlu DeğerYaşlanma ile birlikte alt üriner sistemde hem fizyolojik hem de patolojik değişiklikler görülebilmektedir. Patolojik değişiklikler, bazı ek hastalıkların alt üriner sistemi etkilemesiyle oluşabildiği gibi, alt üriner sistemin kendine ait hastalıkları nedeniyle de oluşabilmektedir. Alt üriner sistemde görülen fizyolojik ve patolojik değişiklikler sonucunda çok farklı çeşit alt üriner sistem semptomları görülmektedir. Bu semptomlar hayat kalitesini bozmakta ve hastaların kırılganlıklarını arttırmaktadır. Ayrıca alt üriner sistemi etkileyen ek hastalıklar veya alt üriner sistemin kendine ait hastalıkları nedeniyle üst üriner sistem etkilenip böbrek yetmezliği gelişebilmektedir. Hastaların hayat kalitesini arttırmak için semptomatik tedaviler uygulanabildiği gibi, sebebe yönelik spesifik tedaviler de uygulanabilmektedir. Yaşam tarzı değişikliklerinden, tıbbi cihazlara, medikal tedaviden cerrahi tedaviye kadar çok değişken tedavi modaliteleri bulunmaktadır. Yaşlılarda kırılganlığı arttıran hayat kalitesini bozan alt üriner sistem sorunlarına multidisipliner yaklaşılmalıdır.
