The 21st century is a period in which digital transformation and technological innovations are rapidly spreading across social and economic fields. The logistics sector is also undergoing significant change driven by smart logistics technologies such as big data, artificial intelligence, and automation. These technologies enhance the efficiency, speed, and security of logistics processes, providing a competitive advantage for businesses. However, this transformation not only represents technological advancement but also redefines the role of human resources. Employees' adaptation to these technologies, their acceptance, and acquisition of necessary skills are critical for successful digitalization in logistics. This study aims to examine the attitudes of employees in Turkey's logistics sector toward smart logistics technologies and identify factors influencing these attitudes. The analysis is conducted within the framework of the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), which is widely used to understand individuals' tendencies to accept or reject technology. The research is based on survey data collected from 413 employees working in logistics companies across Turkey. The research model is structured based on TAM, incorporating four core components: perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, attitude toward use, and behavioral intention. According to TAM, perceived usefulness refers to the functional benefit individuals expect from using a technology, while perceived ease of use indicates how easy they believe the technology is to use. These two components are key antecedents that influence individuals’ attitudes and intentions toward a given technology. The study’s hypotheses are designed to test the effect of employees’ perceptions of the usefulness and ease of use of Logistics 4.0 technologies on their attitudes and behavioral intentions. A twopart survey developed by the researchers was used to collect data. The first section includes demographic information such as gender, age, and education level. In the second section, TAMbased scales developed by Davis (1989) were used to measure employees’ attitudes toward smart logistics technologies. The perceived usefulness and ease of use items were adapted from Davis’s original scale, while attitude toward use and behavioral intention items were expanded with statements from other researchers. To ensure reliability and validity, both exploratory factor analysis (EFA) and confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) were conducted. The results confirmed the validity and reliability of the scales. The findings reveal that employees’ perceptions of the usefulness and ease of use of smart logistics technologies significantly influence their attitudes and behavioral intentions. Higher perceived ease of use leads to a stronger belief in the benefits of the technology, fostering a more positive attitude toward its adoption. The study’s hypotheses were largely supported. Correlation analysis indicated strong, positive relationships between perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, attitude toward use, and behavioral intention. These results suggest that when employees perceive these technologies as useful and easy to use, they are more likely to adopt them with a positive attitude. Employees in Turkey’s logistics sector were found to have a positive outlook toward smart logistics technologies. The study emphasizes that the usefulness and ease of use of these technologies significantly affect employees’ acceptance and intentions. To facilitate adaptation, supportive strategies should be developed. It is recommended that businesses provide training to employees and offer incentives that encourage technology adoption. This study contributes to the understanding of how logistics employees adopt smart logistics technologies, reinforcing the TAM framework in the literature. It highlights the importance of perceived usefulness and ease of use in shaping employee attitudes and intentions. Developing strategies that help employees form positive attitudes toward technology can accelerate the digital transformation of the logistics sector. For business leaders, the design and implementation of smart logistics technologies should prioritize user friendliness. Training programs should be established to support employees’ adaptation, and reward mechanisms should be created to promote usage. Furthermore, clearly communicating the benefits of these technologies to the workforce can enhance employees’ confidence and willingness to engage with them.

Attitudes of Employees in the Turkish Logistics Sector Toward Smart Logistics  Technologies

The adoption of the most appropriate strategy to assist seaport operators in gaining a competitive advantage in their management processes is crucial for achieving sustainable growth and enhancing competitive strength. This study aims to develop a model to guide senior management in selecting strategies for seaport companies. The research proposes a model that helps identify the most suitable strategy among three basic approaches used by seaport operators, based on key performance indicators (KPIs) commonly applied in the industry. In the model, the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) was employed to determine the relative weights of six dimensions of seaport performance indicators.Data was collected through surveys distributed to participants in focus group interviews, comprising experts from various sectors with signiﬁcant experience in their ﬁelds. The experts included four academics, four terminal operator managers, four seaport managers, and four ship transportation business managers. These responses were analyzed using the Super Decision software package. As a result, the weights (coeﬃcients) of the six factors inﬂuencing seaport performance were identiﬁed. These factors are organized into six primary dimensions, which are further subdivided into 16 sub-dimensions. The weights of both the main dimensions and their sub-dimensions were calculated by comparing the factors on a Likert scale.In the proposed model, seaport performance indicators serve as the criteria for strategy selection, while the three strategies available to seaport operators represent the alternatives. The three basic strategies for seaport companies are: cost leadership, diﬀerentiation, and responsiveness (rapid response).To weight the main criteria and their sub-dimensions, a group decision-making approach was employed, involving four par- ticipants from each of four key stakeholder groups who are directly involved in or impacted by seaport operations. The criteria comparisons provided by each stakeholder were entered into the Super Decision software. After conﬁrming that the inconsistency ratio was below the threshold of 0.10, the weights of the main criteria and their sub-dimensions were calculated by taking the geometric mean of each comparison across all 16 participants.The analysis revealed that the main criterion with the highest weight was "Terminal and Supply Chain Integration" (0.27), while "Supporting Activities" was the criterion with the lowest weight (0.06). After determining the weights, two seaport operator managers (coded as A and B) were asked to rate the three strategies on a scale from 1 to 10 for each sub-dimension of the main criteria. The weighted scores were then calculated by multiplying the ratings by the corresponding weights of the sub-dimensions and main criteria. The ﬁnal scores were derived by summing the weighted scores for each sub-dimension.Seaport operator manager A assigned the highest score (8.48) to the diﬀerentiation strategy, indicating that it was the most suitable for their port. The second-highest score (8.28) was given to the responsiveness strategy, while the cost leadership strategy received the lowest score (8.22). Similarly, seaport operator manager B also rated the diﬀerentiation strategy highest (8.25), followed by the responsiveness strategy (8.16). The cost leadership strategy received the lowest score (6.80) from manager B.In this study’s modeling approach, the key performance indicators (KPIs) of seaport enterprises were utilized as criteria for evaluating strategic alternatives. Consequently, the analytical hierarchy process (AHP) model was structured with the goal positioned at the highest level. The second level includes six primary marine performance indicators as the main criteria. The third level consists of the sub-dimensions of these main criteria, while the lowest level of the model represents the strategic alternatives.In other words, the framework of the study is organized into a four-tier hierarchical structure. In this model, the criteria and goals in the ﬁrst three levels are interlinked through nodes. However, the strategic alternatives at the bottom level are not interconnected with the other layers and are independently assessed. This distinctive approach sets our study apart from conventional AHP models, lending it an innovative character.

In the Strategy Choices of Sea Port Operations Decision Making Process with AHP  Modeling

In this research, the relationships between rational and intuitive decision-making ability and emotional intelligence were examined on managers working in aviation companies. The research was conducted in structural equation model according to quantitative research methods. Research data were collected with rational decision making, intuitive decision making and emotional intelligence scale. The research was determined by the convenience sampling method and was conducted on 191 managers working in aviation companies. The obtained data were analyzed in a computer environment with the SPSS22.0 statistical program. As a result of the research; It has been found that the dimensions of self-motivation, empathy and managing others' emotions in the emotional intelligence scale positively affect rational decision-making levels and increase them by 50%. It was concluded that the dimensions of managing one's own emotions, emotional awareness and managing the emotions of others were effective on intuitive decision making and increased it by 47.4%.The research was designed in the relational survey model, which is a descriptive research model. The study group in the research consists of 191 managers working in aviation companies. The rational and intuitive decision making scale and the emotional intelligence assessment scale were used as data collection tools in the study. The scale consists of a total of 30 items; Five sub-dimensions: Emotional Awareness, Managing Own Emotions, Motivation, Empathy, and Managing Others' Emotions. The data obtained in the study were evaluated on a computer using the IBM SPSS Statistics for Windows, Version 22.0 (SPSS INC., Chicago, IL, USA) statistical program. Frequency and percentage analyzes were used to determine the descriptive characteristics of the participants in the study, and mean and standard deviation statistics were used to examine the scale. Kurtosis and Skewness values were examined to determine whether the research variables showed normal distribution. In the relevant literature, results regarding kurtosis and skewness values of variables between +1.5 and −1.5 (Tabachnick and Fidell, 2013), +2.0 and −2.0 (George and Mallery 2010) are considered normal distribution. It was determined that the variables showed normal distribution. Parametric methods were used to analyze the data. The relationships between the dimensions that determine the scale levels of the participants were examined through Pearson correlation and structural equation path analyses.The theoretical model for the relationships between rational and intuitive decision-making ability and emotional intelligence was tested with structural equation path analysis. The results are as follows;Emotional awareness and managing one's own emotions have no effect on rational decision making (p&gt;0.05). Selfmotivation, empathy and managing others' emotions have a positive effect on rational decision-making (p&lt;0.05). 50% of the total variation in rational decision making is explained by emotional intelligence.&nbsp;Self-motivation and empathy have no effect on intuitive decision making (p&gt;0.05). Managing one's own emotions, emotional awareness, and managing the emotions of others have a positive effect on intuitive decision making (p&lt;0.05). 47.4% of the total variation in intuitive decision making is explained by emotional intelligence.&nbsp;The literature confirms that the impact of emotional intelligence on management practices is significant (Ashkanasy and Daus 2002). As a result, managers with high levels of emotional intelligence are believed to contribute to competitive advantage in organizational decision-making and improve managerial procedures (Fernandez, 2007). Research confirms a remarkable correlation between various dimensions of emotional intelligence, including interpersonal skills, intrapersonal skills, general disposition, stress management, and decision-making style (Yılmaz and Altınok 2010).According to Goleman (Goleman, 2011, p. 15), the adoption of emotional intelligence skills as a management philosophy has led to the organization of manager training programs. Today, organizations that prioritize the emotional intelligence of their managers can make more sensitive decisions than their peers.In the study, managers' emotional intelligence levels were examined in the dimensions of emotional awareness, managing their own emotions, self-motivation, empathy and managing the emotions of others. It has been determined that managers have a high level of emotional intelligence in all dimensions. It has been observed that managers' rational decision-making and intuitive decision-making levels are also high.In the study, the relationships between managers' rational and intuitive decision-making abilities and their emotional intelligence were examined by correlation analysis. As a result of the analysis, positive significant relationships were found between all dimensions, while the highest relationship was found to be between rational decision-making and empathy, and the lowest relationship was between rational decision-making and emotional awareness.In the research, the effect of managers' emotional intelligence levels on their rational and intuitive decision-making levels was examined by establishing a structural equation model. It has been determined that the level of emotional awareness and managing one's own emotions does not affect the rational decision-making levels of managers, while the levels of self-motivation, empathy and managing the emotions of others positively affect the rational decisionmaking levels and increase them by 50%.When looking at the effects of emotional intelligence on intuitive decision making; It was concluded that self-motivation and empathy dimensions did not affect the intuitive decision-making levels of managers, and that the levels of managing their own emotions, emotional awareness and managing the emotions of others positively affected the intuitive decision-making levels and increased them by 47.4%.&nbsp;

It is of critical importance to quickly remove the debris that will occur after the earthquake, dump it in appropriate areas and dispose of it in these areas by various means. Such removal and rehabilitation operations are part of disaster management plans, and it is essential to create those plans before a disaster, especially in a big city like Istanbul, which is under constant earthquake threat. One of the issues that needs to be addressed within the debris management context is the determination of suitable areas to collect the debris that will occur after the earthquake. When the studies in the literature are examined, it can be seen that research on debris site selection uses different methods to consider many economic and environmental criteria together, and in some studies, the possible consequences of the strategies to be followed regarding site selection are analyzed with various approaches. However, the fact that no similar scientific study has been carried out for İstanbul is a major deficiency.&nbsp;In this study, a method that includes environmentally friendly approaches is proposed to determine the areas where earthquake debris will be collected for the European Side of İstanbul. Within the scope of the proposed method, first an earthquake scenario is generated and the amount of debris that may occur as a result of this hypothetical earthquake is estimated based on the debris formation characteristics mentioned in the literature. Next, the eight candidate earthquake debris collection areas for the European Side of İstanbul are determined and the criteria to be included in the evaluation of these candidates are identified. These criteria are based on the similar literature of solid waste collection area or debris collection area selection literature and they include distance to debris fields, capacity, distance to residential areas, distance to main roads, distance to wetlands, distance to the sea, distance to forest areas, and distance to agricultural areas. These criteria are related to the environmental sustainability concepts. Once the candidate locations and evaluation criteria are identified, a selection model based on the multiattribute utility theory (MAUT) is applied on the seven excavation dumping areas and rehabilitation areas that are located in European Side of İstanbul as well as the eight candidate debris collection areas. The proposed MAUT model combines existing risk factors in the formulation of a utility function, thus scoring the value of an alternative according to a criterion according to the risk attitude of the decision-maker. Therefore, MAUT provides superiority over the existing multicriteria decision-making methods in terms of its simplicity and the way it treats the actual scores of the alternatives in terms of the criteria as it transforms them into utility values.&nbsp;The numerical findings revealed that the existing excavation dumping areas would be insufficient in terms of capacity and that new debris collection areas were needed. In addition, according to the study results, the existing excavation dumping areas are ranked lower in terms of sustainability compared to the designated candidate debris collection areas. The overall results highlight the necessity of pre-earthquake preparations in terms of debris management to ensure a quick response to such disasters and could be viewed as a guide for policymakers and researchers. The study contributes to the literature by displaying a methodology to estimate possible debris occurrence because of an Earthquake that may affect İstanbul. In addition, it examines the sustainable and appropriate criteria for determining debris collection areas and provides a systematic approach to evaluate the suitability of existing debris collection areas. Last but not least, to the best of our knowledge, this article is the first attempt to integrate MAUT in the earthquake debris removal site selection problem in literature.

A Sustainability-Focused Approach to Determining Earthquake Debris Collection Areas for the European Side Districts of İstanbul

Different modes of transport are preferred depending on the characteristics and size of the goods transported in international trade. Maritime transport is generally the preferred type of transport for the transport of heavy loads where the transport time is not important. According to the International Maritime Organization, more than 80% of world trade is carried out by sea. For Turkey, 81% of exports are carried by sea, 18% by road and 1% by air. In terms of imports, 95% are by sea, 4% by land, and 1% by rail. In the economics literature, there are three main frameworks explaining the import demand; Neoclassical view, the Keynesian view and modern foreign trade theories. Although these three views are explained in different ways, it is national income and prices that play the most important role as determinants of imports. Apart from these two determinants, imports are also under the influence of different macroeconomic variables. Since the demand for imports by sea is examined in the study, the Baltic Dry Freight Index and the Commodity Price Index are also considered as determinants, as well as the national income and exchange rate. Transport costs are also an important factor in the development of international trade. The Baltic Dry Cargo index (BDI), a globally accepted and reliable index, is an index created in the form of the dry cargo prices of ships carrying raw materials recorded in the UK-based Baltic Stock Exchange. The change in the Baltic Dry Index is also related to changes in commodity prices. The Baltic Dry Index depends on developments in raw material demand and global trade. When the studies on imports by sea are examined in the literature, the variables of national income, exchange rate, Industrial Production Index, Baltic Dry Freight Index and Commodity Index are used separately in different studies with different methods (causality, regression, cointegration). Therefore, it is predicted that this study will contribute to the literature by using all of the variables. There are a limited number of studies in the literature on imports by sea. The studies conducted are toward examining the relationship of foreign trade by sea with economic growth using different methods. When the literature related to the study is examined, it is seen that different variables and causality, co-integration and regression methods are used in the studies. In this study, the relationship of imports transported by sea with the exchange rate, Industrial Production Index, Baltic Dry Freight Index and World Commodity Prices was tested with the ARDL limit test method. The dependent variable is seaborne imports (denith), and the independent variables are the exchange rate (kur), Industrial Production Index (sue), Baltic Dry Freight Index (BDI), and Commodity Price Index (emt) series. Augmented Dickey-Fuller (ADF) and Phillips-Perron (PP) Unit Root tests were applied to determine the stationarity level of the variables. According to the PP Unit Root test results, while zenith is stationary at the level, the exchange rate, sue, BDI and emt are not stationary. After determining the existence of co-integration between the variables, short- and long-term ARDL models were created. Based on the 2013-2021 monthly data for Turkey, a long-term relationship has been determined between imports by sea and the exchange rate, Industrial Production Index, Baltic Dry Freight Index and Commodity Index. According to the long-term coefficients obtained, a 1% increase in the exchange rate increases imports by sea by 0.01%, while a 1% increase in the Industrial Production Index increases imports by sea by 1.82%. A 1% increase in the commodity index increases imports by sea by 1.60%. The 1% increase in the Baltic Dry Cargo Index reduces imports by sea by 0.40%. All the results obtained from the long-term coefficients were statistically significant (&lt;0.05). When evaluated in terms of the short-term coefficients, it was observed that it was consistent with the long-term. The error correction coefficient (ect-1) is negative, as expected. The result obtained from the study is that while the exchange rate, Industrial Production Index, and Commodity Index, which are taken as the determinants of imports by sea, move in the same direction as the imports by sea, the Baltic Dry Freight Index moves in the opposite direction. The exchange rate and industrial production index, which are the classical determinants of imports, move in the same direction. On the other hand, national income, which is taken as the Industrial Production Index in our study, has a positive relationship with imports. It has been concluded that the exchange rate, Industrial Production Index, Baltic Dry Freight Index and Commodity index should be considered in imports transported by sea. It is recommended to test the study with different models in different periods.

The negative economic, social, cultural, and psychological impacts of disasters occurring globally are on the rise. For this reason, disaster management is important in preventing the great destruction caused by disasters. Disaster management is divided into main stages as measures taken before, during and after the disaster. In particular, a significant plan made after a disaster is post-disaster humanitarian aid logistics. Humanitarian aid logistics is the process of delivering accurate information, essential supplies, and equipment required after a disaster to the appropriate location and people at the right time in order to address the needs of those affected by the disaster. In recent years, the importance of managing these operations effectively has become even more evident, especially considering the increasing number of climate-related and man-made disasters worldwide. In this regard, logistics processes have become more crucial in disaster management. The logistics processes of disaster management include the stages of pre-disaster preparation, immediate response, and recovery. Each stage requires careful coordination among various stakeholders such as government agencies, non-governmental organizations, local authorities, and international aid organizations. Reducing the negative effects caused by disasters can be achieved by carrying out the procedures in disaster management operations in an effective, systematic and coordinated approach. The integration of advanced technologies and data-driven decision-making tools into logistics operations has further improved the speed and accuracy of humanitarian response efforts. In this regard, logistics processes have become more crucial in disaster management. The logistics processes of disaster management include the stages of predisaster preparation, immediate response, and recovery. These stages that constitute the logistics processes in disaster management are the provision of medical supplies, equipment, food, clothing, shelter, water, blankets, etc. required for disaster victims. It has an effective role in delivering products such as logistics to the right people at the appropriate moment, in the correct place, proper quantity, under the true conditions and at the correct price, also known as the truths of logistics. Failing to deliver aid effectively not only delays relief efforts but may also lead to an increase in casualties, social unrest, and a decline in public trust in institutions. Due to all these important effects, in this study, mathematical models using a mixed integer mathematical model and k-means and ant-based colony optimization were created for the route optimization problem in order to provide humanitarian aid logistics correctly after a disaster. In these models, demands occur stochastically and the road conditions usable by vehicles vary based on the scenarios. Stochastic demand refers to the unpredictability of the needs that arise after a disaster, making it necessary for models to accommodate a range of possibilities. The created models were put into practice in the field of post-disaster aid logistics in the Defne district of Hatay province. In this study, a solution was proposed using two different mathematical models for the vehicle routing problem with stochastic demands and different road conditions in humanitarian aid logistics application structures. In the solution proposal, first, the coordinates and capacity information of the disaster assembly areas were obtained. Demand distributions under different demands were determined and the highest customer service levels that could be achieved according to vehicle capacities were determined. This step ensured that the supply network was designed to meet as many demands as possible under the constraints of available resources. At this service level, vehicle routes were determined with the mixed integer mathematical model and the total distance value was calculated with 1000 cycles over random requests and the result values were analyzed. In the second model, a capacity constraint was added specifically to the k-means algorithm and vehicle routings were solved with the ant colony algorithm. The k-means clustering algorithm helped group demand points efficiently while taking vehicle load limitations into account. The total distance value was calculated using 1000 cycles over random requests for the results of the model. This simulation-based evaluation approach enabled a comprehensive comparison between the two modeling techniques. The ant colony algorithm is a proposed model because it is known for sure that the solution performance of the mixed integer model will decrease when the information is large. The results of the mixed integer mathematical model suggest appropriate results in the field of application. For determining whether the proposed ant colony algorithm can give appropriate results in the case of a problem with large data, the results were compared in the application field. Consequently, it is anticipated that the ant colony algorithm will give appropriate results. This dual-model approach highlights the potential for combining traditional optimization with modern heuristic methods to create flexible and effective logistics solutions for disaster response.

Solution Methods for Vehicle Routing Problem with Stochastic Demand in PostDisaster Humanitarian Logistics

The transportation of hazardous materials is a critical concern for logistics management due to the significant risks posed to human health and the environment. Materials such as explosives, flammable substances, radioactive elements, and corrosive chemicals are inherently dangerous and require meticulous planning during their movement. If these materials are not transported via carefully selected routes, the consequences can include severe accidents, environmental degradation, and public health crises. This study explores a structured and data-driven approach to selecting the optimal routes for hazardous material transportation, focusing on the journey from Adıyaman to Ankara.The research employs the Pythagorean Fuzzy Analytic Hierarchy Process (PFAHP) to prioritize criteria impacting route selection and the Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) to evaluate alternative routes. Together, these multi-criteria decision-making (MCDM) methods provide a comprehensive framework for addressing the inherent uncertainties in subjective human judgment while ensuring a robust evaluation process. The study begins by identifying 17 critical criteria through an extensive literature review and expert consultations. These criteria include population density, risk of accidents, proximity to emergency response infrastructure, and traffic intensity. The selection process accounts for both static and dynamic factors that influence the safety and efficiency of hazardous material transportation. Static factors such as road quality and environmental sensitivity are complemented by dynamic considerations like traffic patterns and weather conditions.The methodology follows a systematic approach:Data Collection: Criteria relevant to hazardous material logistics were gathered from academic studies and insights from professionals in the field. Criteria Weighting: The Pisagor Fuzzy AHP method was employed to assign weights to each criterion, reflecting their relative importance. This approach allows the use of linguistic variables to handle the vagueness and subjectivity inherent in human decision-making. Route Evaluation: Using the TOPSIS method, the weighted criteria were applied to assess seven alternative routes between Adıyaman and Ankara. This method calculates the geometric distance of each route to an ideal solution, ranking them in order of suitability. The results indicate that the "Göksun-Elbistan-Ankara-Niğde Otoyolu" route is the most optimal choice for transporting hazardous materials. This route achieves a favorable balance across key factors such as safety, efficiency and environmental considerations. Specifically, it ranks highest in proximity to emergency response facilities, minimal exposure to populated areas, and manageable traffic conditions.The key findings from the analysis include the following:• Dynamic factors such as traffic fluctuations and weather conditions must be integrated into route planning to adapt to real-time changes effectively. • Routes that minimize human exposure and environmental impact should be prioritized, even if they require longer travel distances or higher costs. • The combination of Pisagor Fuzzy AHP and TOPSIS offers a robust framework for evaluating complex logistics decisions, making it applicable to other hazardous material transportation scenarios.&nbsp;This study emphasizes the critical need for data-driven, structured methodologies in hazardous material logistics. Because these materials carry unique risks, ensuring their safe and efficient transportation is paramount to protecting public safety and preserving environmental integrity. The integration of MCDM techniques enables logistics planners and policymakers to make informed decisions based on a holistic view of the factors at play. To enhance the applicability of these findings, the study recommends the integration of real-time data sources, such as GPS tracking and live traffic updates, into the decision-making process. In addition, continuous monitoring and re-evaluation of the identified criteria are essential to account for the evolving conditions and technological advancements in the &nbsp;logistics sector. This research contributes valuable insights for improving hazardous material transportation, offering a replicable model that can be adapted to various regional contexts and types of dangerous goods. The findings support the development of safer, more efficient, and environmentally responsible logistics strategies, ultimately aiding policymakers and industry stakeholders in mitigating the risks associated with hazardous material movement.

Determination of Routes in Hazardous Material Logistics Using Fuzzy Multi-Criterıa  Decision-Making Methods: The Case of Adıyaman-Ankara

Until the 2008 financial crisis, supply chain management focused on material and information flows and neglected f inancial flows. However, after the crisis, supply chain finance has become more important. The Covid-19 pandemic, which began in 2020, further exposed the vulnerabilities of traditional paper-based trade and supply chain finance systems, leading to the emergence of digital transformation as a solution to reduce disputes and increase security in international trade. Supply chain finance is a multilateral, relatively closed system that requires controllable and reliable data as a supporting factor. In this regard, blockchain technology is promising in the field of supply chain finance as it provides a multilateral and trustworthy system that can be easily integrated. Therefore, research on the applicability of blockchain technology in supply chain finance has become a new focus. This study aims to provide a bibliographic review of the latest applications and academic/theoretical perspectives developed on the usability of blockchain technology as a tool for digitization in supply chain finance systems.In the study, publications on the application of blockchain technology to supply chain finance between 2015 and 2024 were searched with the identified keywords mainly through Google Scholar, Web of Science, Scopus, ProQuest and other online databases related to the field accessible from the ADU library. In the literature review, three keywords, namely "supply chain finance and blockchain/blockchain technology", "relationship between supply chain f inance and blockchain technology", "usability of blockchain technology in supply chain finance", were identified in accordance with the purpose of the study. More than 40 scientific studies were obtained because of the scans made according to the determined keywords. Because of the detailed examination, 24 publications were included in the scope of the study and analyzed. The studies on the applicability of blockchain technology in supply chain finance start with the study (book) by Erik Hofmann et al. I n 2018, in which they established the conceptual framework and discussed the potential applications of blockchain technology in SCF. most reviewed studies show that blockchain technology can be used in supply chain finance, as it has many benefits for the parties. Blockchain technology is believed to be able to solve the challenges of information asymmetry, lack of transparency, and inefficient information sharing in traditional supply chain finance. It is argued that by providing a decentralized and immutable ledger, the blockchain will enable secure and transparent transactions, build trust between supply chain participants, and thus increase the efficiency of financial processes. One of the most important benefits of blockchain technology in supply chain finance is its ability to facilitate information sharing and eliminate information silos. Blockchain technology will provide a shared and transparent platform where all parties in the supply chain can access and verify transaction data in real time. This can increase trust and cooperation among participants, reduce the risk of fraud, and thus improve the accuracy and reliability of f inancial information. Blockchain technology can also improve the efficiency and speed of supply chain financing processes. By automating and streamlining processes through smart contracts, the blockchain will eliminate the need for intermediaries, saving time and costs associated with manual paperwork and reconciliation. For companies in the supply chain, this means faster payments and collections, reduced administrative burden, and improved cash flow. Blockchain technology can also improve the origin and traceability of goods in the supply chain. By recording and verifying transactions on the blockchain, it will be possible to track the movement of goods, verify their authenticity, and ensure compliance with regulations and standards. This is particularly valuable and important in sectors where traceability and quality control are critical, such as food and pharmaceutical supply chains. &nbsp;Despite the benefits outlined above, the adoption of blockchain technology in supply chain finance is still in its infancy and faces several challenges. These challenges include the need for industry-wide collaboration and standardization, scalability issues, and the development of the necessary infrastructure and expertise. In addition, regulatory and legal frameworks need to be addressed to ensure compliance and protect the rights and privacy of participants. In summary, blockchain technology offers significant benefits in supply chain finance by eliminating problems such as information asymmetry, lack of transparency, and inefficient processes. It enables secure and transparent transactions, increases trust and cooperation among supply chain participants, improves efficiency, and enhances traceability. While there are challenges to overcome, the potential benefits of blockchain technology in supply chain f inance make it a promising solution for improving financial processes and fostering innovation in the supply chain.

One of the most important stages of aid activities carried out by humanitarian aid organizations is logistics activities. These activities often play a key role. Logistics, which is defined as procurement at the right time, in the right place, and in the right amount, becomes important in humanitarian aid. These activities are generally carried out in various humanitarian areas such as food, health services, clothing, education, and psychological support.Therefore, their logistics performance is of great importance when humanitarian organizations deliver aid to a region where humanitarian crises occur. Recently, with the impact of humanitarian crises, the question of how to measure the response times and logistics competencies and performance of humanitarian organizations operating in this field has come to the fore.Aim: The main purpose of this study is to evaluate the logistics performance of NGOs working in the field of humanitarian aid. Other objectives are to examine the impact of productivity and efficiency performance of organizations on logistics performance and to determine the effects of these variables. In order to reach the aim of the study, it was supported with a field study. The research model was created with the data obtained from the field study and the model was tested with the collected data. This study aims to contribute to the literature by determining the factors that affect the logistics performance of organizations and drawing conclusions containing useful information for organizations.Method: Due to the scope of work of domestic and foreign origin, non-governmental organizations operating in Turkey have been the target of the research group. A field study was conducted on these organizations, the data and information were analyzed in the SPSS statistical analysis program, and the hypotheses of the research were tested. The hypotheses established to achieve the purpose of the study are as follows: “H1:The productivity performance of the organization positively affects its logistics performance,” and “H2:The organization’s efficiency performance positively affects its logistics performance.” These hypotheses were tested.Findings: According to the results, productivity performance has a significant and positive effect on logistics performance and efficiency performance has a significant but negative effect on logistics performance. As a result of the analysis, the first hypothesis of the study (“H1: The productivity performance of the organization affects the logistics performance positively.”) was accepted.According to the established regression model, it was determined that efficiency performance has a negative effect on logistic performance. Therefore, the second hypothesis of the study (“H2: The efficiency performance of the organization affects the logistics performance positively.”) was rejectedResult: Good tooling, good equipment, and good timing with bureaucratic permits are essential for good logistics performance. A well-established logistics coordination system ensures that the organization always performs logistics well. It has been observed that productivity performance and efficiency performance have effects on logistics performance. Finding trained personnel in civil society (the third sector), presents difficulties compared to the private and public sectors. This situation causes the personnel working in humanitarian aid organizations to either work temporarily or work on a project-based contract. Therefore, employees cannot provide stability in the organizations they work with. Finally, it is important to note that there are several factors necessary for good logistic performance. Even if all of these come together, sometimes additional problems occur and cause the logistics activity to be interrupted or even halted. Good teams, good equipment, and good timing are absolutely necessary for good logistics performance, together with bureaucratic permits. A well-established logistics coordination system ensures that the organization always exhibits good logistics performance.

As emphasized in this study, integration with suppliers is possible with the integration of processes. A process is a set of activities designed to produce a specific output for a particular customer or market (Davenport, 1993). Process integration, on the other hand, refers to the management of various activities that aim to combine relevant business processes within and across companies, and to eliminate duplicate or redundant processes in order to create a better functioning supply chain (Chen vd., 2009).&nbsp;Process integration with suppliers requires regular communication between cross-organizational work teams and partners. Firm integration ensures that inter-organizational business processes work in collaboration. Thus, it improves firm performance by creating synchronous processes (Frohlich ve Westbrook, 2001) throughout the supply chain and provides operational synergy, resulting in higher productivity.Mellat-Parast and Spillan (2014) stated that supply chain process integration is the most important indicator of the competitive position of the company, and determined its positive effect on firm competitiveness. Chen et al. (2009) dimensioned process integration with suppliers as internal process integration and external process integration, and found that external process integration positively affects firm performance. Langerak et al. (2007) also investigated the effect of product performance on firm performance, and found a positive effect. Narasimhan and Kim (2002) investigated the moderating effect of market uncertainty in the relationship between planning integration and profitability, and found that profitability increased in markets with low uncertainty. Liao and Tu (2008) found that the integration of production processes had more impact on production performance under conditions of high environmental uncertainty. For these reasons, the hypotheses of the research are determined as follows.H1: Process integration with the supplier has a positive effect on firm performance. H2: Process integration with the supplier has a positive effect on product performance. H3: The effect of process integration on firm performance is mediated by product performance. H4: Product performance has a positive effect on firm performance. H5: Market uncertainty has a moderating effect on the effect of Process Integration with Supplier on firm performance.The research was applied on SMEs operating in Istanbul and Gebze. The sample of the research consists of 156 industrial companies. Exploratory factor analysis (EFA), confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) and reliability analyzes were performed to test the validity and reliability of the scales. As a result of EFA, factor loads were obtained at over 0.50 for all scales, and KMO values were obtained at over 0.70. Reliability analysis showed that the alpha coefficient value for all scales was determined by over 0.70. CFA showed, that the scales meets the goodness of fit criteria. As a result of the correlation analysis, it was found that there was a significant relationship between variables in the same direction at the level of 0.01 significance.&nbsp;As a result of structural equation analysis of the model, the process integration with suppliers positively affected product performance and firm performance; It has also been determined that product performance affects firm performance positively. The bootstrap method was used to test the mediation role of product performance on the impact of process integration with suppliers on firm performance. In order to test the mediating role of product performance, the significance of indirect effects was examined, and the bootstrap method was used for this. The highest likelihood method was used in 95% confidence interval consisting of 1000 samples and the Monte Carlo parametric bootstrap option was chosen. Indirect effects confidence interval lower value was determined as 0.204, and the confidence interval upper value was found as 0.377. It was found that the significance level of indirect effects is below 0.01, which means it is meaningful. The fact that the confidence interval lower and upper value ranges do not include zero, and being meaningful indicates that product performance has an intermediary role in the impact of strategic integration with suppliers on firm performance.Path analysis was conducted to analyze the moderating role of market uncertainty in the impact of process integration with suppliers on firm performance. For this purpose, an interaction variable is formed, which is the multiplication of the process integration and the market uncertainty variables. As a result of the moderating impact analysis, it was seen that process integration and market uncertainty had a positive effect on firm performance. However, the interaction variable did not significantly affect firm performance. This finding shows that market uncertainty has no moderating effect on the effect of process integration on firm performance. The reason for this is thought to be related to the fact that market uncertainty includes a more market-oriented perspective. According to this finding, it will be possible to say that the uncertainties in the market are not related to the procurement processes. As a result of the research, the H1, H2, H3 and H4 hypotheses were supported, while the H5 hypothesis could not be supported.

The Mediating Role of Product Performance on the Effect of Process Integration with Suppliers on Firm Performance

Journal of Transportation and Logistics (JTL) is a new multidisciplinary published official journal of Istanbul University, The School of Transportation and Logistics. Published twice a year in May and November. The aim of the journal is to disseminate the new ideas on the issues and problems faced by transportation and logistics industry which becomes irrevocable for the global economy. JTL provides academicians and practitioners with a dynamic platform to discuss and analyze the new issues for transportation and logistics. It presents an independent, original and elaborated analysis to facilitate the interchange of information about logistics and supply chain management among business planners and researchers on a world-wide basis as well as a platform for new thinking on the problems and techniques of logistics and supply chain management. Starting from 2025, the journal will only evaluate articles in English. Turkish articles will not be evaluated except for the ones that are still in process.

Academicians and practitioners are invited to submit articles, research papers, case studies and review articles that progress the science and practice of transportation, logistics and supply chain management. While articles in any area of transportation, logistics or supply chain management are welcomed, the editors are especially interested in those dealing with managerial applications of theory and technique. Articles which provide guidelines for framing, interpreting or implementing the transport and logistics process in the supply chain are of particular interest.

Depending on the type of article and the percentage of similarity score taken from each article, the overall similarity score is generally expected to be less than 15 or 20%. Double Blind Peer-Review After plagiarism check, the eligible ones are evaluated by the editors-in-chief for their originality, methodology, the importance of the subject covered and compliance with the journal scope. The editor provides a fair double-blind peer review of the submitted articles and hands over the papers matching the formal rules to at least two national/international referees for evaluation and gives green light for publication upon modification by the authors in accordance with the referees’ claims.

The Artificial Intelligence Policy, prepared in light of developments in artificial intelligence (AI) and practices in scholarly publishing, sets out the editorial and ethical principles that authors, reviewers, and editors should follow when using such technologies. The following sources have been considered in the preparation of the AI policy:Committee on Publication Ethics <a href="https://publicationethics.org/guidance/cope-position/authorship-and-ai-tools" target="_blank">(COPE) - Authorship and AI tools</a>; International Committee of Medical Journal Editors <a href="https://www.icmje.org/recommendations/browse/roles-and-responsibilities/defining-the-role-of-authors-and-contributors.html#four" target="_blank">(ICMJE) - Artificial Intelligence (AI)-Assisted Technology; World Association of Medical Editors  (WAME) Chatbots, Generative AI, and Scholarly Manuscripts</a><a href="https://www.icmje.org/recommendations/browse/roles-and-responsibilities/defining-the-role-of-authors-and-contributors.html#four"></a>AI-assisted technologies (such as large language models [LLMs], chatbots, or image generators) can develop and produce a wide variety of content, including text, images, audio, and synthetic data. When used ethically and safely, these capabilities can increase productivity and foster innovation, but when used without human guidance, they pose risks such as inaccurate and biased results, omissions and errors in citations, deficiencies in protecting privacy and intellectual property rights, and potential violations of authors' and publishers' rights. IUPress adopts the following core principles to avoid these risks in the use of AI:  <ul><li>Details of any AI used in the production of content (including but not limited to text, figures, images, and code) must be declared and clearly explained in the appropriate section of the paper (as an acknowledgement and/or in the methods section). </li><li>No AI tool may be listed as an author in any scientific paper. </li><li>Authors are responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and originality of their work, even if AI is used in any way; they are responsible for the proper referencing and attribution of others' ideas, data, words, or other materials. </li><li>Reviewers and editors must not upload submitted work, in whole or in part, to any generative AI application.</li></ul>In the editorial processes of IUPress publications, tools are available to assist editors in identifying AI-generated content. On the other hand, it is common to use AI tools that provide suggestions for improving and enhancing readability, language, and grammar, and such AI tools can be used in IUPress publications under the supervision of editors and authors.

Artificial Intelligence Policy

<ul><li>Authors are required to declare if they have used AI-assisted technologies (such as large language models [LLMs], chatbots, or image generators) in the creation of their submitted work. </li><li>Authors should explain, both in the cover letter and in the appropriate section of the submitted paper (as a footnote and/or in the methods section), which AI tool and which version of it they have used and for what purpose. </li><li>Authors should also indicate how they used the AI tool and how they assessed the validity of the results obtained using this technology, and what aspects of the paper, manuscript content, data or supporting files were influenced by the use of the AI tool or were generated by AI.</li><li>It is the authors' responsibility to ensure the accuracy, validity and appropriateness of content and citations generated by AI-assisted technologies and to eliminate potential errors, inconsistencies and biased results. </li><li>Authors should always check the original sources to eliminate possible plagiarism, recognising that there is a potential for plagiarism in texts produced with AI-assisted technologies. They should confirm that they have checked and that the sources are original.  </li><li>AI-assisted tools (such as ChatGPT) cannot be listed as authors because they cannot be responsible for the accuracy, integrity, and originality of the work, and these responsibilities are essential to authorship. Therefore, authors are responsible for all material involving the use of AI-assisted technologies. Authors should ensure that all statements in the article that state the hypotheses, interpretations, conclusions, limitations, and implications of the study represent their own opinions.  </li><li>Studies created by authors using AI tools in the following ways, which substitute for the basic researcher's and author's responsibilities, violate the principles of scientific publishing and publication ethics, and such studies are not eligible for inclusion in publications: </li></ul><ul><ul><li>Generation of text or code without rigorous review, </li><li>Generation of synthetic data to replace missing data without a robust methodology, </li><li>Creation of any inaccurate, synthetic content, including abstracts or supplementary materials, </li><li>Creation and manipulation of images and figures (pictures, graphs, data tables, medical images, image snippets, computer codes and formulae) or original research data (enhancing, hiding, moving, removing or adding a particular feature within an image or figure) using AI.</li></ul></ul>

It is essential to maintain confidentiality in the peer review process and not to share or use the reviewed work in this process. <a href="https://publicationethics.org/sites/default/files/ethical-guidelines-peer-reviewers-cope.pdf" target="_blank">(COPE – Ethical Guidelines for Peer Reviewers</a>)<ul><li>Reviewers should not upload a manuscript or part of a manuscript submitted to them for review to generative AI tools or large language models to assist in the review, evaluation or decision-making process, as uploading content to such AI tools by reviewers violates the authors' privacy and property rights.  </li><li>Reviewing a scientific paper is a responsibility that can only be undertaken by human beings. The critical thinking and original evaluation required for peer review is beyond the scope of this technology, and there is a risk that the technology will produce inaccurate, incomplete or biased conclusions about the paper. The peer review report and decision letters should reflect the personal assessment of the reviewers and editors of the submitted content. The reviewer is responsible and accountable for the content of his/her report. </li><li>AI tools may be used in a limited way to improve the quality of the language of the peer review report (for translation or language editing) in the context of peer review. If such use is made, the reviewer must declare the use when submitting the report. </li><li>Reviewers who suspect inappropriate or undisclosed use of generative AI in a submission should report their concerns to the editor.</li></ul>

Editors are obliged to ensure that the confidentiality of the manuscripts submitted to the journal is maintained during the evaluation process, and it is essential that the peer-reviewed work is not shared or used outside the parties involved in that process. (COPE - Code of Conduct and Best Practice Guidelines for Journal Editors) <a href="https://publicationethics.org/files/Code_of_conduct_for_journal_editors_Mar11.pdf" target="_blank">(COPE – Code of Conduct and Best Practice Guidelines for Journal Editors)</a>.<ul><li>Editors should not upload a submitted article, or any part of it, to generative Artificial Intelligence tools or Big Language Models to assist in the review, evaluation or decision-making process, as this may violate authors' privacy and property rights. </li><li>Managing the editorial review of a scientific article implies responsibilities that can only be attributed to humans. Generative AI or AI-assisted technologies should not be used by editors to assist in the evaluation or decision-making process of an article, as the critical thinking and original evaluation required for this task is beyond the scope of this technology and there is a risk that the technology will produce inaccurate, incomplete or biased conclusions about the article. The editor is responsible and accountable for the editorial process, the final decision and its communication to the authors.</li><li>Editors should not use generative AI tools to compose decision letters or abstracts of unpublished research. </li><li>Editors may use generative AI tools to help find appropriate reviewers.</li><li>If editors suspect the use of generative AI in a submitted manuscript or a submitted referee report, they should conduct an editorial review of the matter and consider the policy.</li></ul>

The Journal of Transportation and Logistics is committed to upholding the highest standards of publication ethics and pays regard to Principles of Transparency and Best Practice in Scholarly Publishing published by the <a href="https://publicationethics.org/" target="_blank">Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE)</a>, the <a href="https://doaj.org/apply/transparency/#principles-of-transparency-and-best-practice-in-scholarly-publishing" target="_blank">Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ)</a>, to access the <a href="https://oaspa.org/" target="_blank">Open Access Scholarly Publishers Association (OASPA)</a>, and the <a href="https://www.wame.org/" target="_blank">World Association of Medical Editors (WAME)</a> on <a href="https://publicationethics.org/resources/guidelines-new/principles-transparency-and-bestpractice-scholarly-publishing" target="_blank">https://publicationethics.org/resources/guidelines-new/principles-transparency-and-bestpractice-scholarly-publishing</a> All parties involved in the publishing process (Editors, Reviewers, Authors and Publisher) are expected to agree on the following ethical principles. All submissions must be original, unpublished (including as full text in conference proceedings), and not under the review of any other publication synchronously. Each manuscript is reviewed by one of the editors and at least two referees under double-blind peer review process. Plagiarism, duplication, fraud authorship/denied authorship, research/data fabrication, salami slicing/salami publication, breaching of copyrights, prevailing conflict of interest are unnethical behaviors. All manuscripts not in accordance with the accepted ethical standards will be removed from the publication. This also contains any possible malpractice discovered after the publication. In accordance with the code of conduct we will report any cases of suspected plagiarism or duplicate publishing.

Ethics

The Journal of Transportation and Logistics adheres to the highest standards in research ethics and follows the principles of international research ethics as defined below. The authors are responsible for the compliance of the manuscripts with the ethical rules. <ul><li>Principles of integrity, quality and transparency should be sustained in designing the research, reviewing the design and conducting the research.</li><li>The research team and participants should be fully informed about the aim, methods, possible uses and requirements of the research and risks of participation in research.</li><li>The confidentiality of the information provided by the research participants and the confidentiality of the respondents should be ensured. The research should be designed to protect the autonomy and dignity of the participants.</li><li>Research participants should participate in the research voluntarily, not under any coercion. - Any possible harm to participants must be avoided. The research should be planned in such a way that the participants are not at risk.</li><li>The independence of research must be clear; and any conflict of interest must be disclosed.</li><li>In experimental studies with human subjects, written informed consent of the participants who decide to participate in the research must be obtained. In the case of children and those under wardship or with confirmed insanity, legal custodian’s assent must be obtained.</li><li>If the study is to be carried out in any institution or organization, approval must be obtained from this institution or organization.</li><li>In studies with human subject, it must be noted in the method’s section of the manuscript that the informed consent of the participants and ethics committee approval from the institution where the study has been conducted have been obtained.</li></ul>

It is authors’ responsibility to ensure that the article is in accordance with scientific and ethical standards and rules. And authors must ensure that submitted work is original. They must certify that the manuscript has not previously been published elsewhere or is not currently being considered for publication elsewhere, in any language. Applicable copyright laws and conventions must be followed. Copyright material (e.g. tables, figures or extensive quotations) must be reproduced only with appropriate permission and acknowledgement. Any work or words of other authors, contributors, or sources must be appropriately credited and referenced. All the authors of a submitted manuscript must have direct scientific and academic contribution to the manuscript. The author(s) of the original research articles is defined as a person who is significantly involved in “conceptualization and design of the study”, “collecting the data”, “analyzing the data”, “writing the manuscript”, “reviewing the manuscript with a critical perspective” and “planning/conducting the study of the manuscript and/or revising it”. Fund raising, data collection or supervision of the research group are not sufficient roles to be accepted as an author. The author(s) must meet all these criteria described above. The order of names in the author list of an article must be a co-decision and it must be indicated in the <a href="https://cdn.istanbul.edu.tr/file/JTA6CLJ8T5/C9715CBF313140CAB130C5613C15A585" target="_blank">Copyright Agreement Form</a>. The individuals who do not meet the authorship criteria but contributed to the study must take place in the acknowledgement section. Individuals providing technical support, assisting writing, providing a general support, providing material or financial support are examples to be indicated in acknowledgement section. All authors must disclose all issues concerning financial relationship, conflict of interest, and competing interest that may potentially influence the results of the research or scientific judgment. When an author discovers a significant error or inaccuracy in his/her own published paper, it is the author’s obligation to promptly cooperate with the Editor to provide retractions or corrections of mistakes.

Editor-in-Chief evaluates manuscripts for their scientific content without regard to ethnic origin, gender, citizenship, religious belief or political philosophy of the authors. He/She provides a fair double-blind peer review of the submitted articles for publication and ensures that all the information related to submitted manuscripts is kept as confidential before publishing. Editor-in-Chief is responsible for the contents and overall quality of the publication. He/She must publish errata pages or make corrections when needed. Editor-in-Chief does not allow any conflicts of interest between the authors, editors and reviewers. Only he has the full authority to assign a reviewer and is responsible for final decision for publication of the manuscripts in the journal. Reviewers must have no conflict of interest with respect to the research, the authors and/or the research funders. Their judgments must be objective. Reviewers must ensure that all the information related to submitted manuscripts is kept as confidential and must report to the editor if they are aware of copyright infringement and plagiarism on the author’s side. A reviewer who feels unqualified to review the topic of a manuscript or knows that its prompt review will be impossible should notify the editor and excuse himself from the review process. The editor informs the reviewers that the manuscripts are confidential information and that this is a privileged interaction. The reviewers and editorial board cannot discuss the manuscripts with other persons. The anonymity of the referees must be ensured. In particular situations, the editor may share the review of one reviewer with other reviewers to clarify a particular point.

Only those manuscripts approved by its every individual author and that were not published before in or sent to another journal, are accepted for evaluation.Submitted manuscripts that pass preliminary control are scanned for plagiarism using iThenticate software. After plagiarism check, the eligible ones are evaluated by editor-in-chief for their originality, methodology, the importance of the subject covered and compliance with the journal scope.The editor hands over the papers matching the formal rules to at least two national/international referees for double-blind peer review evaluation and gives green light for publication upon modification by the authors in accordance with the referees’ claims.

Peer Review

LanguageArticles in Turkish and English are published. Submitted manuscript must include an abstract both in the article language and in English, and an extended abstract in English as well. However extended abstract in English is not required for articles in English.Manuscript Organization All correspondence will be sent to the first-named author unless otherwise specified. Author Guidelines

Research Article: Original research articles report substantial and original scientific results within the journal scope. Original research articles are comprised of Abstract, Key Words, Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, Conclusion, References and Figures, Tables and Graphics.<ul type="disc"> <li>Abstract: The abstracts in English must be between 180-200 words and state aim, method, result and conclusions of the study. If the article is in Turkish 180-200 words of abstract both in Turkish and English and  extended abstract of 600-800 words in English must be written as well following the abstracts.</li> <li>Introduction: This section must contain a clear statement of the general and specific objectives as well as the hypotheses which the work is designed to test. It should also give a brief account of the reported literature. It should clearly state the primary and secondary purposes of the article. Only, the actual references related with the issues have to be indicated and data or findings related with the current study must not be included in this section.</li> <li>Methods: This section must contain explicit, concise descriptions of all procedures, materials and methods (i.e. data sources, participants, scales, interviews/reviews, basic measurements, applications, statistical methods) used in the investigation to enable the reader to judge their accuracy, reproducibility, etc. This section should include the known findings at the beginning of the study and the findings during the study must be reported in results section.</li> <li>Results: The results should be presented in logical sequence in the text, tables, and figures, giving the main or most important findings first. The all the data in the tables or figures should not be repeated in the text; only the most important observations must be emphasized or summarized.</li> <li>Discussion: The findings of the study, the findings and results which support or do not support the hypothesis of the study should be discussed, results should be compared and contrasted with findings of other studies in the literature and the different findings from other studies should be explained. The new and important aspects of the study and the conclusions that follow from them should be emphasized. The data or other information given in the Introduction or the Results section should not be repeated in detail.</li> <li>Conclusions: Conclusions derived from the study should be stated. The conclusions should be linked with the goals of the study but unqualified statements and conclusions not adequately supported by the data should be avoided. New hypotheses should be stated when warranted, but should be labeled clearly as such.</li> <li>Figures, Tables and Graphics: Figures, tables and graphics materials should be “.jpg, .tiff or .jpeg” format and they should be submitted with the article. These materials should be min. 300 pixels and they must not be bigger than page size. The illustrations should not exceed 10 pages. All illustrations should be labelled and a list of figures with captions, legends, and credits should be provided on a separate page.</li> </ul>Review Article: Reviews prepared by authors who have extensive knowledge on a particular field and whose scientific background has been translated into a high volume of publications with a high citation potential are welcomed. These authors may even be invited by the journal. Review article should contain title, abstract and keywords; body text with sections, and references.
